Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage physical security systems, including alarms and access controls

  • Assess security situations and make sound judgments to ensure the safety of personnel and assets
  • Manage key inventories and maintain detailed records and reports
  • Operate various communications and security equipment, including computers and multi-frequency radios
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement officials for emergency situation coordination
  • Conduct equipment inventories and complete records and logs
  • Enter, update, and retrieve information from various computer systems and sensitive databases
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience in security operations, including experience with physical security systems and emergency response
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of relevant security regulations and procedures
  • Proficiency in using various security and communication equipment
Working Conditions

The work is typically sedentary in nature, with some walking, standing, and carrying of light items. Working on off-tours, rotating shifts, or regular overtime may be required.
