Job Summary: The Unit Secretary is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing assigned clerical duties and maintaining patient records. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Function as the unit receptionist, providing excellent customer service and responding to patient and family inquiries
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of unit secretary course preferred
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Experience preferred but not required
