Position Summary

The Clinical Research Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the clinical trials conducted at the investigative site. This position is responsible for providing essential administrative assistance to the clinical research department.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for offsite support.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or research is preferred.
  • Clear criminal background.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of confidentiality ethics and ability to maintain sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and email.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Ability to provide a minimum of four weeks' notice if resigning.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Exceptional record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to travel for off-site meetings as necessary.
Essential Functions
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate the daily operations of the Clinical Research department - 90%
  • Perform additional duties as assigned - 10%
Physical Demands
  • Assist in patient transfers using appropriate techniques.
  • Maintain full range of body motion and visual acuity.
  • Engage in repetitive tasks such as data entry.
  • Lift or move up to 30 pounds using ergonomic tools.
Work Environment
  • Typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other risks.
