Evening Lavatory Care Specialist
Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the upkeep and sanitation of restroom facilities, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness as set by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and uphold restroom cleanliness, which includes but is not limited to toilets, walls, urinals, stalls, floors, sinks, and windows, utilizing standard industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to meet company and health regulations.
- Regularly remove foreign materials from the restroom floors to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Empty trash receptacles in restrooms as needed, replacing them with new liners to prevent overflow and unpleasant odors.
- Ensure all soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers are fully stocked at the start of each shift and throughout the day.
- Alert the cleaning team of any urgent cleaning needs that arise between scheduled rounds.
- Promptly inform maintenance personnel of any plumbing issues related to toilets or sinks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math skills is required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position may involve exposure to varying temperatures and cleaning chemicals, including chlorine, bleach, and industrial disinfectants. Personal protective equipment must be worn as required.
