We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Janitorial Cleaners. As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Job Summary:

As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized. Additionally, you will be responsible for properly using and handling cleaning equipment and reporting any issues to your supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized.
• Properly use and handle cleaning equipment.
• Report any issues to your supervisor.
• Deal with reasonable requests and complaints in a professional and patient manner.
• Effectively communicate with building occupants to accomplish tasks.
• Understand and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, customer rules and regulations, and safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and floor equipment a plus.

• Ability to present self in a highly professional manner.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds.

Work Environment:

• Generally in an indoor setting; however, may participate in outside activities and events.
• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to smells, heat/cold during summer and winter months.
• The noise level in some work environments is usually moderate to loud.
• Protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment is required by the work environment or safety regulations.
• Will be exposed to various cleaning chemicals.
