About the Role:
The Warehouse Services Supervisor is responsible for managing consumables / indirect materials planning, procurement, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and distribution, optimizing warehouse processes as well as establishing and managing Key Performance Indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to establish consumables requirements and usage data
- Establish and manage vendor relationships which provide low cost, quality products while maintaining supply chain continuity
- Establish streamlined processes for internal customers to submit requests and provide operational efficiency
- Manage Inventory Storage and Distribution
- Implement efficient storage and space utilization
- Establish streamlined replenishment process for internal customers
- Manage vendor returns and/or quarantined items to ensure timely return and/or disposition
- Manage Team
- Train and develop team members to support materials management best practices
- Implement cross-training initiatives
- Implement and maintain 7S initiatives in all areas
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Outlook and Excel and ERP systems
- Good cross function communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for the most efficient use of time
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
- Proven ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with both internal partners and external clients
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business preferred but not required
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, operations planning or similar functional areas
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience
