Ideal Candidate: We are in search of meticulous Clinical Care Assistants who are dedicated to assisting those in need and fostering a friendly atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with our medical team and will be tasked with patient check-in, facilitating aquatic therapy sessions, and managing patient check-out. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Previous experience in the healthcare sector is a plus, but we welcome candidates eager to learn. Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vital support to our clinical staff and contribute to outstanding patient care.
- Engage in a dynamic healthcare setting where your skills and commitment will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
- Maintain familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Manage patient check-in and documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Assist patients in preparing for aquatic therapy sessions.
- Handle daily tasks such as answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments in the EHR system, and supporting medical professionals in patient therapy.
- Uphold a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
- Contribute to the growth of our patient base through exceptional care and service.
- Communicate effectively with office personnel and supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as required by office needs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn office operations from front desk procedures to patient care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Capability to learn and utilize an EHR system effectively.
- Strong communication skills with in-office staff, patients, and other team members.
- Ability to follow directions from supervisors.
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
- Preferred experience in treating patients in the injury and accident domain.
- Completion of background check authorization and necessary documentation prior to onboarding.
- Bilingual or ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time, typically 2 to 3 days per week (approximately 20-30 hours).
Compensation:
- $18-20+/hr based on experience.
