Position Summary:
The role of Group Account Supervisor is pivotal in championing brand initiatives. Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Group Account Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agency Operations:
    Oversee processes and develop tactical plans while managing budgets effectively.
  • Financial Management:
    Administer client budgets with precision, ensuring accurate tracking of hours and expenses.
  • Problem Solving:
    Utilize your expertise to preemptively address potential challenges and resolve client issues.
  • Leadership:
    Exhibit informal leadership within the agency, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Team Management:
    Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to junior account staff.

Expertise Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of therapeutic categories and target audiences, with a foundational understanding of additional categories.
  • Experience with assigned brands, including familiarity with relevant clinical data.
  • Act as a key resource for therapeutic areas, identifying market opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to agency processes and lead resolution of any issues.

Strategic Insight:

  • Address strategic marketing challenges and propose actionable solutions.
  • Communicate a clear point of view as a marketing partner to clients.
  • Conduct high-level analyses of market data to inform strategic development.

Tactical Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing and brand platform briefs.
  • Manage the production of client-approved marketing materials.
  • Collaborate on the development of creative briefs.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing communications plans and proposals.
  • Possess a basic understanding of PHCG offerings and tools.

Client Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with client counterparts.
  • Ensure frequent and positive communication with primary clients.
  • Act as a brand champion, aligning all stakeholders with brand strategy.
  • Advocate for the agency's perspective and ensure clarity in client communications.
  • Lead the delivery of accurate client documentation and correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience in a healthcare communications setting is essential.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is preferred.
