Job Title: Dental Director

Waterfall Community Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Director to lead our dental program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of all operations of The Dental Clinic at Waterfall Community Health Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage dental staff, including hygienists, dental assistants, and patient services representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, DPH, and JCAHO.
  • Develop and implement dental policies and procedures related to clinical operations.
  • Oversee the clinic's Quality Assurance Program and Infection Control Program.
  • Develop and maintain clinical protocols for the delivery of patient care services.
  • Manage and resolve patient complaints and incidents.
  • Review and analyze financial and productivity data for the dental program.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address negative variances from departmental goals.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited dental school with a Doctoral Degree (DDS/DMD).
  • Unrestricted License in State of Oregon.
  • Current DEA Certificate without restrictions.
  • Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, private, and other insurance.
