Dialysis Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at University Health.
As a Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance activities on assigned medical equipment, reverse osmosis water systems, dialysate delivery systems, inventory controls, and quality controls. You will also complete assigned duties and reporting in a timely, efficient, and competent manner, while complying with University Health and department policies and regulations for the proper use and care of equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on assigned medical equipment, reverse osmosis water systems, dialysate delivery systems, inventory controls, and quality controls.
- Complete assigned duties and reporting in a timely, efficient, and competent manner.
- Comply with University Health and department policies and regulations for the proper use and care of equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Course of study in repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment or RO water treatment is required.
- National Certification through BONENT or NANT is preferred.
