Job Description
As a Senior Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for sustaining, optimizing, and improving Plasma Etch Semiconductor Equipment performance and reliability. You will lead all maintenance activities, scheduled and unscheduled, on assigned equipment. Additionally, you will provide leadership, guidance, and assistance to area technicians, drive cost savings projects, and generate and execute on-time improvement projects on assigned equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Eliminate reoccurring equipment failures by devising new approaches and developing solutions to complex problems
Optimize preventive maintenance procedures and provide clear instructions and documentation to technicians
Work with equipment vendors or second-source companies to modify parts and improve Equipment performance
Identify opportunities for reducing maintenance and operating costs and provide cost studies for preventive maintenance activities
Optimize spare parts inventory and reduce spares cost
Lead the process of evaluating new equipment or software and make recommendations to meet Tower Semiconductor business objectives

Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining Semiconductor Equipment, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to a component level on Dry Etch equipment
Experience on LAM 9600, 9400, 4500, 2300 toolsets is a plus
In-depth knowledge of equipment functionality, subcomponents, control circuit, and its process parameters is required
Strong leadership and computer skills are required
