BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced EHS Professional to join our team as a Health and Safety Associate Consultant. As a key member of our Consulting Services Division, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on EHS matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IIPP, hazard communication, and chemical safety programs
  • Conduct accident investigations and create follow-up responses
  • Perform EHS inspections and assessments, including general building safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, and machine guarding
  • Create and deliver health and safety training
  • Develop or maintain management systems
  • Provide expertise and experience in EHS regulatory compliance
  • Conduct ergonomic evaluations in office, lab, industrial, and healthcare environments
  • Provide employee education and coaching in safe work practices to prevent injury and illness
  • Support ergonomic program development
  • Ensure health and safety code compliance and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct occupational safety surveys and inspections
  • Write technical reports
Requirements
  • Prior health and safety experience
  • Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships
  • General knowledge of EHS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to gather and organize data from multiple sources
  • Ability to plan and implement projects
  • Professional certifications (such as CIH, ASP, CSP, CPE, CAC, or CHMM) desired, but not required
  • Understanding of health and safety regulatory requirements, specifically Cal/OSHA standards and conducting regulatory compliance audits
