Job Overview

Canonical seeks an Enterprise Account Manager to lead our channel sales efforts in the Americas. This role requires a strong ability to drive sales growth through our channel partners and a deep understanding of the open-source market.

About the Role: As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a channel strategy that drives sales growth through our distributors and resellers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a channel strategy that drives sales growth through our distributors and resellers.
  • Increase awareness of Canonical as a lead player in Open Source and Cloud (Private, Hybrid, Multi, and Public models).
  • Identify and recruit new potential partners in the assigned territory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's level degree, preferably in a technology field.
  • Experience in software or technology sales from the specified market.
  • Fluency in English.
  • An understanding of open source, Linux, and Ubuntu.
  • A self-starter with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Salary: Estimated $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
