Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at American Waterworks. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for leading fraud investigations, supporting annual Code of Ethics training, and reviewing companywide credit card activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fraud investigations, including employee interviews, evidence analysis, and report writing.
  • Support annual Code of Ethics training, including developing training materials and presenting to employees.
  • Review and respond to companywide credit card activity, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee policy and procedure questions, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for remediation or training, developing solutions to address compliance gaps.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, with a background in legal, investigation, or project management.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, with an advanced degree in law or a related field preferred.
  • Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft systems, including PowerPoint and Excel.
