Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) and radiography, with a focus on real-time x-ray imaging and inspection techniques. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform real-time x-ray inspections on products and components to ensure compliance with customer and certification agency regulations.
  • Develop and implement NDT procedures and inspection techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Train and qualify NDT inspection personnel, including radiography and other NDT methods.
  • Maintain all x-ray related equipment and systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with regulations.
  • Support manufacturing operations, including inspection techniques and procedures.
  • Participate in supplier audits and NDT investigations as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of work experience as NDT RT Level II in aerospace inspections.
  • Certified ASNT NDT Level III.
  • Familiar with quality system requirements (ASME Section III, ANSI, NQA-1, AS9100, ISO9001, etc.).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Competent computer skills, including MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous shooters card along with Safety Training associated with Radiography.
  • Experience in Digital Radiography (DR).
  • Certified in one or more of the following NDT methods in conjunction with RT: Visual Examination (VT), Liquid Penetrant Examination (PT), Magnetic Particle Examination (MT), Ultrasonic Examination.
