Position Overview:
The Accounting Clerk will oversee the management of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring precision, prompt processing, and adherence to organizational policies. Primary Duties:
- Accounts Receivable Management: Handle invoicing within NetSuite and accurately record customer payments for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer transactions.
- Weekly Reporting & Collections: Generate weekly accounts receivable reports and support collection activities to sustain a healthy cash flow.
- Accounts Payable Management: Input accounts payable invoices and assist with weekly check processing to guarantee timely and precise payment of outstanding bills.
- Internal Control Compliance: Maintain and enforce robust internal control measures to align with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Effective Communication: Engage professionally with clients and internal teams to address inquiries related to invoices and payment statuses.
- P-Card Oversight: Collaborate with fellow staff accountants on company P-Card administration tasks, ensuring compliance with policies regarding credit limit adjustments, receipt documentation, and approvals for corporate credit card accounts.
- Process Enhancement: Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements through automation and standardization.
- Month-End Support: Assist Senior Accountants with month-end responsibilities as required, including journal entry adjustments and account reconciliations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years in an accounting-related position.
- Education: An Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and compliance.
- Organizational Abilities: Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address complex issues and make informed decisions.
