Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the Medical Assistant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement effective scheduling and staffing plans to meet the needs of the practice.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to Medical Assistants to improve their skills and performance.
- Act as a liaison between management and staff, communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist with patient care and provide first-level counseling to staff as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and services.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Nationally recognized certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Competitive hourly wage range of $26-$32.
