This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of skilled professionals in the production of the F16 aircraft. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of the forward fuselage section, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with multiple functional organizations to resolve issues and constraints in the aircraft assembly/production environment.
- Status, communicate, and support production goals and objectives of the day/week.
- Assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work assignments, and establish nominal expectations of tasks.
- Instill product disciplines to align with production imperatives of Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost.
- Support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and advise on and implement innovations and process improvements.
- Maintain 6S/lean processes for the area of responsibility.
- 6 years of experience in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul on fighter and/or commercial aircraft.
- Previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, Navy, or Army 7-level discipline skill rating in an aircraft maintenance-related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Possess an Airframe and/or Powerplant License.
- FCC Certifications or equivalent civilian experience with associated training credentials.
- Experience with operational Avionics, Electrical harness fabrication, routing, and installation, Pneumatic and oxygen system tubing handling, problem-solving, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
