Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician to join our Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to assemble and install sheet metal and structural components
  • Use precision measuring instruments and mechanics hand tools to ensure accurate assembly and installation
  • Perform repetitive movements and work overhead to assemble and install components
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area
  • Properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures
Requirements
  • 3+ years of aviation, heavy manufacturing/assembly, or repair experience
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to perform assembly and installation work using assembly, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and mechanics hand tools
  • Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Heavy Aircraft Structural Repair or Aircraft Sheet Metal experience
  • Aircraft structural modification or heavy structures overhaul experience
  • Aircraft assembly, maintenance, and/or modification experience preferred
