Hose Assembler

Gates Corporation is seeking a skilled Hose Assembler to join our production team in Greenville, SC. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in operating equipment to couple and form various sizes and product lines of hydraulic hose assemblies.

• Perform assembly tasks utilizing a variety of tools and machines
• Work in a team environment to support safety, productivity, and delivery of high-quality products
• Operate machine controls, including recognizing warning devices on machines
• Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards

• Ability to read, understand, and perform printed and verbal work instructions
• Constantly demonstrate safe working habits and follow all safety requirements
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Temperatures may vary in accordance with weather conditions and may be extreme. Gates is managed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requires all employees to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
