Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician to join our Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate and assemble sheet metal and structural components
  • Lay out and fabricate sheet metal and structural components using precision measuring equipment
  • Assemble and install sheet metal and structural components on F16 aircraft
  • Repair and modify sheet metal and structural components as needed
  • Comprehend and follow safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
  • Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft
  • Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive movements and work overhead
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area
  • Properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures
Requirements
  • 8+ years of Aviation Sheetmetal or Structures experience, heavy Aviation manufacturing/assembly or repair experience
  • Heavy Aircraft Structural Repair or Aircraft Sheet metal experience
  • Aircraft structural modification or heavy structures overhaul experience
  • Aircraft assembly, maintenance, and/or modification experience preferred
  • Experience with drill ream and countersink, hydraulic installs
  • Knowledge of integral fuel tank sealing processes
  • Willing to be trained and/or certified in special skills
