Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician Level 2- Multi Shift

You will be part of the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team as the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician. Our team is responsible for the production, repair, and delivery of F-16 aircraft to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F-16 aircraft using precision measuring equipment.
- Be knowledgeable in aircraft structural assembly operation and maintenance, including precision drilling/reaming, riveting/installation of various fasteners.
- Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
- Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
- Properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures.
- 3+ years of aviation, heavy manufacturing/assembly, or repair experience.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing process.
- Ability to perform assembly and installation work using assembly, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and mechanics hand tools.
- Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
- Heavy Aircraft Structural Repair or Aircraft Sheet metal experience.
- Aircraft structural modification or heavy structures overhaul experience.
- Aircraft assembly, maintenance, and/or modification experience preferred. Will consider commercial experience.
- Experience with drill ream and countersink, hydraulic installs.
- Knowledge of integral fuel tank sealing processes.
- Willing to be trained and/or certified in special skills.
3 day weekends every weekend. Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3x12 weekend shifts.
