Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to provide exceptional support to our employees, supervisors, and managers. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR services, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and new hire processes.
  • Process payroll transactions related to HR functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate background investigations, including fingerprint checks and drug tests, as required.
  • Manage onboarding and timekeeping processes, ensuring seamless transitions for new employees.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of timekeeping practices and HR policies.
  • Ability to compose correspondence and communicate effectively with multiple levels of staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advance knowledge of business, office practices, and automated business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HR software applications, including DOCTime and Cardinal.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, including leave policies and FLSA.
  • Ability to work in a tobacco-free environment and maintain confidentiality.
