Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to provide exceptional support to our employees, supervisors, and managers. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing guidance on HR-related policies and procedures, processing payroll transactions, and coordinating background investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to employees, supervisors, and managers
  • Process payroll transactions related to HR functions
  • Coordinate background investigations, including fingerprint checks and drug tests
  • Manage onboarding and DOCTime processes
  • Provide education and training to staff on HR policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of timekeeping practices
  • Knowledge and ability to apply/interpret general HR policies and procedures
  • PC operations to include a variety of HR databases
  • Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advance knowledge in business, office practices, and procedures
  • Experience with DOCTime, Cardinal, and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and DocuSign/virtu
  • General knowledge of benefits administration, including leave policies, VRS, healthcare, deferred compensation, FLSA, and FMLA
