Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and meeting the needs of families and significant others. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse or other medical staff, this individual performs various patient care duties and follows the plan of care, taking into account the age and/or development stage of the patient.

- Collect and record patient data, vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living (ADL).
- Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.

- Take care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean up.
- Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.
