Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our patients with end-stage renal disease. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of our patients, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Perform technician duties, such as measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
