Role Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) holds the pivotal role of steering the strategic vision and operational efficacy of the organization. The CEO ensures adherence to the best practices established by the YMCA through the directives and policies set forth by the Board of Directors.
Reporting Structure:
The CEO reports directly to the Board of Directors and oversees key positions including the Director of Operations, Director of Finance & HR, Director of Childcare, and Director of Building & Property, along with indirect oversight of the Directors of Youth & Adult Sports, Aquatics, and Fitness Programs.
Community Engagement:
The CEO acts as the primary liaison to local businesses, community members, and state and federal YMCA affiliations, fostering relationships that enhance the organization's presence and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations while providing strategic guidance in collaboration with the Board to establish policies and goals.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure sound fiscal management and reporting, leading the annual budgeting process and overseeing financial operations.
