Job Summary

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing a mixture of customer service, warehouse work, loading and unloading trucks, as well as occasionally making deliveries on an as needed basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Handle and/or process related paperwork, as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Maintain and count inventory
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Ensure a professional image at all times
  • Heavy lifting required to load and unload product
  • Familiar with pre-trip inspections of trucks. Inform management of any problems or maintenance issues relating to the truck. Operate truck in a safe manner by obeying speed limits and traffic laws

Preferred Requirements:

  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Be able to read and interpret, in English, job-related documents
  • Be able to maintain focus on tasks at hand with a high level of attention to detail
  • Be able to follow an established routine and interact in a team environment
  • Have the ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, divide, and multiply)
  • Must be able to identify products by way of work-related documents such as pick lists, work orders, shipping documents, etc.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, ability to do quotes and order entry
  • Be a self-managing employee
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat to perform loading/unloading assignments
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid DOT physical card, as well as a valid Class C driver's license
  • Must have a clean, professional appearance
  • Must have PC/Windows/Office skills, SAP software experience a plus
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check
  • No DUI or License suspensions in the last 5 years
