Buchanan Legal Professional Services is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our strategic goals, building and maintaining client relationships, driving business expansion, and supporting overall revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Business Development in achieving strategic objectives through research, reporting, and analytics.
  • Work on go-to-market initiatives for selected business units, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  • Manage projects from conception to launch, ensuring successful implementation and meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare tailored client proposals and RFPs, showcasing your writing and editing skills.
  • Maintain and update representative experience descriptions and capability statements for proposals and directories.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and prepare client and target background dossiers, providing valuable insights.
  • Write and prepare submissions for legal directories and rankings, highlighting our firm's expertise.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on developing content for podcasts, webinars, and events, enhancing our brand presence.
  • Ensure all business development and marketing expenses comply with our firm's policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, with at least 5 years of experience in a professional services environment (preferably in a law firm).
  • Excellent communication, writing, editorial, proofreading, and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Proven client service skills, including strong influencing and negotiating abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
