Job Description

As a Product Owner, you'll play a critical role in solving for safer by building public safety solutions that combine the capabilities of our software suite into a single, user-centric workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog for assigned value streams, contributing to the product roadmap and understanding customer and market needs.
  • Work in partnership with the product manager, relying on technical knowledge and background to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Engage with assigned Engineering teams, grooming the backlog and defining engineering behind features.
  • Translate high-level customer functional requirements into technical specifications for development.
  • Describe the impact of technical requirements to customers, non-technical sales, and support resources.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, product ownership, product planning, product management, or public safety.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Firm understanding of software design, user interaction, and user interface design.
  • Deep technical knowledge in software development methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing product and project management tools such as Aha, Jira, and DevOps.
  • Technical skills and knowledge of cloud services and development.
