Position Summary

The Golf Shop Sales Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a delightful and memorable golfing experience. This position involves welcoming players, showcasing, and selling golf merchandise while maintaining a friendly and inviting atmosphere in the Golf Shop. Ideal candidates should be sociable, enthusiastic, and collaborative, embodying the values of GreatHorse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a warm and friendly environment for all members, guests, and colleagues.
  • Uphold a pristine and inviting appearance of the golf shop.
  • Assist in the display, receipt, and merchandising of products.
  • Ensure the shop is consistently well-stocked and organized.
  • Facilitate special order requests.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of golf merchandise to drive sales.
  • Support inventory management.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Accurately process sales transactions using Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Manage tee time scheduling, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Assist with various golf shop operations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in merchandising is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology, including POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
