Position: Retail Sales Specialist

Role Summary:

The Retail Sales Specialist in our Golf Shop plays a crucial role in delivering a positive and memorable experience for our members and guests. This position involves welcoming players, showcasing, demonstrating, and selling golf merchandise, while consistently maintaining a friendly atmosphere in the shop. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, approachable, and team-oriented, embodying the core values of GreatHorse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a spirit of hospitality and camaraderie among members, guests, and colleagues.
  • Uphold a pristine and inviting appearance of the golf shop.
  • Assist in the display, receipt, and merchandising of products.
  • Ensure the shop is consistently well-stocked and organized.
  • Support special order requests.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of golf merchandise to drive sales.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately process sales transactions using Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Manage tee time scheduling, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Provide support for various golf shop operations as required.
Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience in merchandising is beneficial.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology, including Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Capability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Retail experience is preferred but not essential.
