Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Vehicle Program Management team. This role will concentrate on various critical areas, including:

  • Cabin Design and Interiors
  • Seating Solutions for Pilots and Passengers
  • Pilot Control Systems
  • Installation of Aircraft Components

This position will involve collaboration with the Cabin and Equipment team, engaging in design, analysis, systems engineering, and certification processes. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing significantly to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Integrated Product Team in managing all programmatic aspects related to aircraft systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines to ensure alignment with aircraft type certification and manufacturing processes.
  • Support technical leads in addressing and resolving engineering challenges and risks.
  • Oversee coordination of cost, schedule, and technical issues, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Engage with suppliers and collaborate with various internal departments to facilitate project success.
  • Work closely with program teams to define project scopes and manage resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary reviews throughout the development and certification phases.
  • Implement and manage changes within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) effectively.
  • Analyze project timelines to propose alternative strategies for schedule recovery.
  • Report on system status to senior management, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Encourage process improvements and facilitate effective teamwork.
  • Remove obstacles to progress and promote a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within a development engineering context.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with facilitation techniques and conflict resolution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in aircraft Type Certification processes.
  • Knowledge of FAA certification procedures.
  • Experience with aircraft cabin design and seating.
  • Understanding of relevant analyses and regulatory standards.

Compensation:
Salary range: USD $146,900.00 - $195,800.00 per year.
