Position Summary: As a Controls Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of HVAC control systems. Your expertise will ensure that our systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute installation hardware design and software programming in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide comprehensive information to facilitate communication of design and operational details to clients and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the creation of graphical representations for control systems.
  • Conduct thorough checks of HVAC control systems and associated wiring.
  • Perform loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as necessary.
  • Document procedures for Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems.
  • Deliver site-specific training for owners/operators on the complete system with support.
  • Foster long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in job progress meetings as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in a technical field with 1-2 years of field experience, or 3 years of equivalent experience in the HVAC sector.
  • Proven experience in the design and commissioning of digital HVAC control systems.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Niagara AX certification is preferred.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
