SUMMARY: This role involves providing exceptional customer support, performing clerical tasks, and managing business details through various responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks are integral to this position. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Responds to incoming calls, engaging with customers to deliver outstanding service, addressing complaints, and managing customer accounts.
- Conducts data entry tasks efficiently.
- Opens and categorizes incoming mail.
- Performs general office duties, including maintaining and organizing files.
- Assists with special projects as directed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To excel in this role, an individual must successfully complete each essential duty. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this position. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Capable of addressing problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
