Job Title: Accounting Support Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting division.
  • Conduct research and processing for accounts payable invoices.
  • Manage inventory adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform monthly labor audits.
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory cycle counts.
  • Support the month-end closing procedures.
  • Execute additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Background:

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The contractor will be expected to work one Saturday per month and may need to be available for extra hours during month-end closing.

Essential Qualifications:

A High School Diploma is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clerical or accounting role; capability to handle confidential information.

Desirable Qualifications:

An Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in a business or accounting setting, particularly in accounts payable.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is competitive and may vary based on relevant experience, skills, and knowledge. This information is provided in accordance with applicable regulations and is influenced by market conditions.

Additional Information:

A valid driver's license and the minimum required vehicle insurance coverage are necessary for access to client and company premises.
