Role Description

Previous successful experience in the factory-built housing industry is a must to be considered for this position.

This is a full-time role for a General Manager at Genesis Homes Development located in Murphy, NC. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, including project management, and team management. The General Manager will also work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

This position is within a private property 50-lot development with spec homes completed and ready for immediate occupancy. This location also sells homes outside of the development in the surrounding tri-state area.

This is a selling management position. A proven track record of strong closing abilities is a must.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work Saturdays, early evenings & some holidays (5 day work week)
  • Proven closing/negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written
  • Great listening skills & creative problem-solving with the ability to find the root cause, as well as a solution.
  • Proactive follow-up with prospective customers
  • Follow through with commitments
  • An ability to bring energy & enthusiasm to the workplace
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in the factory-built home industry
  • Strong sales management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve effectively
  • Knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • Previous experience with factory-built home sales and construction is a must
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other team members
