About the RoleAs the Director of Acquisition Marketing at Wellth, you'll be our primary patient advocate and storyteller. We're seeking someone who can delve into patient populations, understand their motivations, fears, and behaviors, and develop a compelling brand and communication strategy. You'll own the patient-marketing strategy, channel strategy, message, tactics, and success metrics, driving awareness, enthusiasm, and participation in our programs.
You'll collaborate closely with our Product, Design, Behavioral Science, Data, and Operations teams. We're not just doing consumer marketing; we're conducting in-depth user research, focusing on patients who need our help the most, building products, scaling with automation, and continuously experimenting and measuring everything.
Success in this role requires generating awareness, interest, and enthusiasm in our target patient markets – individuals with chronic conditions who need help building healthy, lasting habits to improve their well-being and reduce hospitalizations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct qualitative user research to build a rich profile of our target patients and their needs, wants, challenges, and motivations, serving as the voice of the patient within Wellth.
- Craft our product brand and messaging to resonate with patients, positioning Wellth as a trusted partner in their healthcare journey.
- Develop and evolve messaging used to communicate the value of our no-cost offering to patients across various marketing channels.
- Identify and create high-value content to aid in the conversion funnel, including video, testimonials, web copy, blog posts, and social content.
- Develop and refine segmentation that guides the patient journey from outreach to onboarding to successful health habit formation.
- Advocate our approach with our customers – large health insurers and health systems.
- Research and identify opportunities for new use cases and patient populations.
- Conduct quantitative research and analysis to test, measure, and learn (e.g., A/B testing).
- Grow and coach the acquisition marketing team.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience within a consumer-focused product, ideally within healthcare or wellness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing compelling content
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Experience in market research, sales, and product marketing engagement
- Tremendous empathy, initiative-taking, and a collaborative attitude
- Natural curiosity, a fearless question asker, detail-oriented, and a passion for healthcare
