About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Representative to join our dynamic team at Resource Hub. As a key member of our Sales Team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and processing information and documentation needed to obtain DME for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Representatives, up to two (2) at a time, in coordinating patient care and processing documentation.
  • Act as the patient's main point of contact for Resource Hub, providing exceptional communication and customer service.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, the patient, referral sources, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Collect and verify patient insurance information, and coordinate with patients to schedule face-to-face evaluations with their physicians, if required.
  • Prepare and send all necessary documentation to physicians for approval, and receive and process approved documentation.
  • Keep Sales Representatives up-to-date on the status of each patient's order and any other necessary information.
  • Explain equipment, insurance coverage, and payment options to patients prior to delivery, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills and exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with patients, referral sources, and insurance companies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet multiple competing deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
