Overview: Waterway is currently seeking Client Relations Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that all their requirements during their visit are recognized and fulfilled. Role Responsibilities: The Client Relations Specialist will offer and promote car wash services, memberships, and retail items to meet client needs and enhance satisfaction. Familiarity with our offerings and the ability to make suitable recommendations is essential. You will assist clients at various points, including the entrance and payment areas, as well as in the retail space. Depending on client demand, you may alternate between indoor and outdoor responsibilities. If you enjoy engaging with clients, building rapport, and maintaining a positive demeanor, this position is ideal for you.

Compensation: Average earnings of $19 per hour (including base pay and sales bonuses).

Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience in customer service, retail, or sales is strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance in line with company standards.
  • Ability to perform essential functions safely.
  • Compliance with local/state health regulations for food service and sales.
  • Meet local/state minimum age requirements for the sale of regulated products.
  • Complete all necessary training and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding and prompt customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for clients. Proactively greet clients entering the store or service areas and respond to their needs.
  • Effectively present and sell car wash services, memberships, and additional retail options to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to ensure a positive experience for every client, including:
    • Outdoor areas: gas pump islands, payment terminals, and service entrances.
    • Indoor areas: counters, merchandise displays, restrooms, and waiting areas.
  • Keep retail merchandise stocked and organized, ensuring displays are clean and appealing. Conduct inventory checks as directed.
  • Maintain the integrity of point-of-sale transactions and cash handling by adhering to procedures. Utilize all transaction technology effectively.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.

Other Duties:

  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as making deposits or delivering supplies.
  • Fulfill various transactional functions based on client demand and staffing needs.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: May work primarily outdoors throughout the year, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and other environmental factors.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks at a fast pace.
  • Vision and Hearing: Must have good visual acuity and the ability to hear and understand speech amidst background noise.
  • Language: Must be able to communicate fluently in English with team members and clients.
  • Cognitive: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate data entry devices.
  • Attendance: Must maintain regular and punctual attendance, working as scheduled, which may include weekends and holidays.
