Position Overview

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating and distributing financial reports to our partners and insurance entities on a regular basis. Your analytical skills will support both the Client Services and Executive teams by providing essential internal reports and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, assess, and communicate key performance indicators and overall company metrics across various sales channels.
  • Deliver monthly reconciliation and reserve reports to client partners and insurance companies.
  • Manage and oversee financial data related to our insurance programs, including premiums, claims, and policy information.
  • Collaborate with Database Administrators to enhance reporting capabilities and gain a thorough understanding of our data systems.
  • Assist the Client Services team with reporting needs for current and prospective clients.
  • Work with IT product owners to define business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, updating business cases as necessary.
  • Provide analytical support in reviewing enrollment and claims data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct additional analyses on various projects, including product adjustments, pricing strategies, and market competition.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial analysis or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in the insurance sector or a related regulated industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions and reporting software.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and a dedication to customer service.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SQL, reporting software, Tableau, and reinsurance is a plus.
