Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and calibrating equipment
  • Monitor and control energy consumption to reduce costs and minimize environmental impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and vendors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in building engineering or a related field
  • EPA Universal certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm. Overtime may be required as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range: $28.84 - $30.28 per hour.
