Job Summary

As a Building Maintenance Technician at Copper Mountain Resort, you will be responsible for providing corrective and preventative maintenance on all exterior and interior structures and systems. This includes plumbing repair, alteration, remodel, and installation, as well as work on natural gas lines, backflow preventer repair and certification, and commercial HVAC troubleshooting and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Work on natural gas lines, backflow preventers, and water treatment systems
  • Repair and maintain commercial appliances, motors, and controls
  • Perform locksmithing and advanced commercial appliance repair/maintenance
  • Work on walls, floors, and ceilings, including drywall, painting, and surface prep
  • Use ladders and aerial lifts to access high areas
  • Work in crawl spaces, cold or hot areas, and small, hard-to-reach places
Requirements
  • Must be flexible to working days and hours, especially during ramp up/down and busy occupancy periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to distinguish colors
  • Must be able to work in all types of conditions, including crawl spaces, cold or hot areas, and small, hard-to-reach places
  • Must be able to work well with others and be a team player, while helping to lead and develop other staff members
  • Must keep accurate records and be able to communicate properly with vendors and sub-contractors
  • Must have a valid US Driver's license
