Job Summary

The Maintenance Worker Lead is a key role within our facilities team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our buildings and grounds. This position requires a high level of expertise in maintenance and the ability to lead and coordinate the work of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Schedule and assign daily work assignments to the maintenance team, overseeing the completion of tasks and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Develop and implement maintenance checklists to ensure that buildings and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Repair and maintain various fixtures and hardware, including doors, windows, and office equipment.
  • Report on major maintenance needs and recommend corrective action as appropriate.
  • Mentor and train maintenance staff on minor tasks and procedures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the work of others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks.

This role requires a high level of physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
