Job Summary

The North Texas Tollway Authority is seeking a skilled Road Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our toll roads. Your primary duties will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning drains, repairing guardrails, and inspecting road surfaces.
  • Operating heavy equipment such as mowers, loaders, and snowplows to maintain roadways and clear snow and ice.
  • Assisting with lane closures and completing special projects as assigned.
  • Responding to emergencies and providing support during snow and ice events.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Valid driver's license or ability to obtain Texas Class "C" driver's license within 30 days of hire.

Preferred:

· Previous experience in road maintenance or a related field.
