Job Title: Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at White Pond Villa, a senior living community in Akron, OH. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring that all financial, leasing, compliance, resident retention, and maintenance goals and standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the property's budget and financial operations, including preparing and monitoring financial reports, and ensuring that all rent and late fees are collected and deposited on time.
  • Oversee the leasing process, including marketing the property, showing apartments, and processing lease agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to fair housing, resident rights, and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement resident retention strategies, including regular communication with residents, addressing concerns and issues, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Supervise and train staff, including maintenance personnel, to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs, including scheduling and supervising maintenance personnel, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in a senior living community or affordable housing setting.
  • COS and/or CPO certification required.
  • Experience in a supervisory role or capacity required.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite, Outlook, and property management software.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
  • Clean driving record required.
