The Orthopedic Hospital seeks a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to lead our sports medicine team. As the Lead Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of athletic training services, developing injury prevention programs, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Athletic Trainers in providing high-quality athletic training services
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs to minimize athlete risk
- Conduct thorough assessments and create rehabilitation plans for athletes
- Collaborate with coaches, medical professionals, and other staff to optimize athlete performance and promote overall wellness
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- Certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA)
- CPR certification
- Indiana Athletic Trainers Board License
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transportation
- 3+ years of experience as a practicing Certified Athletic Trainer
- Bachelor's degree in biological and/or health science
- Master's Degree in Athletic Training
