This is a contract opportunity slated to last 1 year with the possibility of extension. The logistics portion of this role will account for 60-70% of your time.
About the Job- Responsible for shipping and receiving as well as inventory control.
- Install and image systems according to instructions.
- Perform hardware repairs on laptops.
- Provide first and second-level contact and problem resolution.
- Image and reimage laptops.
- Provide phone support for software issues using remote control software.
- Offer extensive software support for in-house developed client software.
- Communicate timely updates on issue status and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all reported incidents.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010, and other authorized desktop applications.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Remediate repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to resolve network connectivity and workstation hardware/software problems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 6 months of IT experience.
- CompTIA A+ certification highly desired.
- Experience with Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of networks and servers.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet Service Level Agreements.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal customer service skills.
