Your collaboration with clients, project managers, firm leaders, and support staff will be crucial to achieving successful outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead roadway planning, geometric design, and modeling using Bentley MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
- Ensure compliance with various state and federal design standards and specifications.
- Oversee project deliverables concerning scope, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct initial quality control reviews on designs and submissions.
- Facilitate all aspects of project submissions, including utility coordination, environmental considerations, and public engagement.
- Engage in business development and marketing efforts to secure new projects for the firm.
- Prepare proposals, manage contracts, and maintain client relationships.
- Lead project teams while mentoring engineers and designers.
- Utilize knowledge of the design process to foster relationships with the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Idaho Professional Engineer License or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with various transportation design software packages.
- Experience with the Idaho Transportation Department's design processes and specifications.
