Position Overview:
The Patient Financial Services Representative II is accountable for the precise and prompt management of patient financial accounts concerning billing, collections, and reimbursement services in alignment with the standards, policies, and procedures of the Regional Medical Center of Memphis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the required volume and quality of collection communications daily to achieve the necessary completion metrics.
- Uphold a high level of accountability to ensure that data and coding remain unchanged on claims before submission.
- Collect all pertinent information essential for processing patient claims efficiently.
- Meet daily productivity benchmarks, ensuring that billing and re-billing tasks are completed to fulfill completion expectations.

Educational Requirements:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with relevant coursework. Additional post-secondary education is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in billing, collections, payment processing, and reimbursement verification for both government and commercial insurance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general hospital accounts receivable is essential.
- Consideration may be given to candidates with college education, prior insurance claims experience, or healthcare billing experience in lieu of hospital-specific experience.
